I put about 15 man hours into designing this flyer this week so I feel the need to show off my skills. I’m well aware that it looks like crap, but somehow I got asked to design this as the “Mac” person in the department. I curse my reputation as the tech-savy one. I still don’t know how to make the black background export as “real black.” InDesign is practically a foreign language without training and online message boards are not helpful! But as I stated many times this summer, I am a historian, not a designer.
